FEBRUARY 17, 2005
Cherry Valley (Illinois) Volunteers responded to this 1:30 AM (Feb 17th) fire on Kentwood Parkway. Arriving units faced a well involved single family dwelling and called for a MABAS second alarm. An aggressive interior attack quickly brought the fire under control with damage contained mostly to the rear of the structure.

Rockford Captain Jim Dahlgren was "in the buggy"; here's what he had to say: “The whole house was sitting in a bowl of fire when we got here. We got the bulk of it knocked down fairly quick.”
