MARCH 22, 2006 Rockford Firefighters arrive on scene of a fully involved garage attached to a large, 2 story home around 9:30 p.m. Engine 4 quickly "pulls a booster line" followed up by several "working lines" as additional companies (Q-5, E-10, L-1) arrive to this rather remote cul-de-sac on the city's far northeast side of town. Positive pressure ventilation is immediately established at the front door of the structure and helps to keep the fire from advancing into the house. Engine 11 responds as the third engine on the second alarm.
